No way! So that's where that plate came from! When I first got my Supra, I was taking off the accordian hose, and heard something fall, it was a plate that looked exactly like that! LOL I always wondered where it came from...I'm not sure what it means...at first I thought it was the key code plate that comes with the original keys, (maybe the original owner hid it in the engine bay) but the dealer said it wasn't and they didn't know what it was...

Nothing I've ever seen on the handful of CT26's that I've been in contact with. Maybe it's a factory reman tag? It looks like a remanufacturer's tag...

there was an underground shop in japan back in the late 80's and early 90's that did some custom work on ct turbos. i think their name was dark moon or something like that. they did some sort of "secret" work to these turbos and would put a plate on them to designate them as theirs. there should be a letter in the front of the number, this is which guy of the club did the upgrade. for some reason they all went by letters instead of names. weird stuff. but yeah the group of numbers. the first 2 digits of numbers was how much boost you could run and never found out what the last 2 numbers meant.
not sure what happened to those guys either.
