pistons

ok so my 1jz has 150,000km on it and now i want to put a turbo kit on it, i would like to to the bottom end first, but am having trouble finding pistons for it....:1zhelp:

Here is one of the kits that I found in the past when I was just jacking around. http://www.suprastore.com/1jzgteparts.html Look on this page the have rods and pistons but they are costly.

That'll only cost you $10k or so. I'd go 1.5jz FTW!why spend $5000 on parts to rebuild your bottom end, when you can just buy this (http://www.suprastore.com/toy2jzgteens.html) and go 1.5 straight Toyota Spec from the factory? You're not doing a stroker, or running high compression, nitrous or anything ridiculous, so... why not? :dunno:

or get a lower mileage n/a 2jz bottom block for a hundred or so

2JZ pistons should work.

At least I think they will fit with no problems. I was looking at some CP .40 over for my 1JZ build.
