I am trying to get some opinions on what pistons I should put in my motor. I have been looking at the JE Pistons, but they do not offer them in a standard bore size only .20 and .40 over. I am trying to keep machining costs down by not having the cylinders bored out if I do not have to. Any ideas on some good pistons?

I am willing to do whatever machine work the block needs, I just dont see a reason to have it bored out if everything is within tolerance. Also, what about connecting rods? I have been looking around and I am only finding a few connecting rods offered for the 7M. Has anyone had any luck with one connecting rod over another?

I ended up looking at the same thing,. The only pistons that I could find in a 'standard' bore were the Probes, and they're a 'hone to fit' being .003 oversize. All the rest were at least a .020 overbore needed.

In the end I chose the Arias pistons in a .020 over.

I just popped the pistons in the block last weekend. The rods are shot-peened stock. There are pics in the 'what did you do...' thread. Haven't finished assembly yet. Sure look pretty though.
