piston/wrist pin/connecting rod question.

I bought a set of wiseco pistons, and with the instructions it says "Wiseco pistons have an offset wrist pin that matches OE pistons, make sure the offset is the correct direction before installing"

Do our pistons have offset wrist pins? Cause my stockers and the wiseco's seem to have the wrist pin in the DEAD center...

Just wondering, I'm not putting the engine together yet or anything, but it would be good to already have this in my head and in my notepad.

yeah, they can, I was just wondering if there was a wrist pin offset...

Yes, they have a front mark and bigger valve reliefs on one side.

Just curious....

If you have a set of verniers you can measure from the pin bore to the skirt on each side to check!

Someone posted a pic recently that showed it but I can't remember which brand they were!
