pinched nerve, help.

i pinched a nerve for the first time in my neck.. anyone got any advice for making the pain go away faster? im sitting here doing nothing wasting daylight, when i could be working on my bhg (i was taking off the headstuds, i thought i heard something, turned my head fast and BAM searing pain in the neck, that literally made me drop to my knees)

Seriously. if it is bad go to a spine doctor. I just had to get injections in my neck for a pinched nerve, bulgeing disc and bad arthritis . I thought I was going to DIE! It made my entire left side of my body hurt so bad I almost passed out.

You can go to the emergency room for a quick do-fer. they will shoot you up with 3 or more things that will have you so high you wont care. it wont last that long but it will give you time to get into a spine dr. they can give you TRIGER point injections right away, then schedule you for the big injection that I just had, that should fix you up. They will also want you to get an MRI so I hope you have insurrance.

Go to the ER ASAP they will fix you up good , and if you can afford the co-pay just tell them you did not bring any money and can they bill you. They will and you can pay later.

I agree completely, I get sharp stabbing pains in my neck once a month... man up! of course if the pain doesn't go away after a few hours lets say then you got a problem..

pulled muscles in my back that caused pinched nerves... muscle relaxers help a lot...
