heh, my only suggestion is i hope your arm is up to it... just do the normal for polishing Al- 400-800-1000-2000 grit wet sanding then hit it w/a polishing wheel and some some white rouge....and BLING!

finest grit i can find at the local hardware goes to 1500, but i do have the muslin polishing wheel and the white compound. gonna work on my exhaust heat shields when my baby gets back from the body shop. is it wise/even possible to powdercoat the exhaust mani? mines rusty, looks like a giant twisted piece o' poo

1500 should be fine...

i wouldn't waste your time on the ex. manifold heat shields, they're steel! they'll just rust up....

the only way to prettifiy the heat shields or the ex. manifold is via ceramic coating. powder coat will just burn off....

jet hot is a type of ceramic coating......the expensive kind.
