quick question, now when i replace my clutch, flywheel, pp. i will need the throw out bearing, pilot bearing, and is there also a pilot bushing to go with it? b/c i ordered all 3 but my bushing wasnt in it. i need to know if i have to wait another week for it to get here or should i just go ahead and do the work on it.

Nope, there is no bushing. Before you start though, I reccommend getting the SST to pull out that bearing, it is expensive but it prevents one hell of a headache.

Your clutch kit should come with a new TOB, and pilot bearing. You should only need to get new snap rings and the wavy spring/washer from Toyota seperately.

so if you order a clutch kit, you still need more parts from Toyota to make it work? couldnt you just re-use the stock parts? also, what does SST stand for?

I did, and I had no problem. I have heard cases of them breaking though and I don't know for sure why they did but I'm reccomending new ones to you to be on the safe side.

SST is a special service tool. You can see it and the part number here:

I have heard that auto parts stores have ones that fit but I have also heard by many more people that none of them fit right.

BTW if you're NA, my Spec clutch (for my turbo even) came with the alignment tool also.

thats what i am going to try and do... if its not broken, then i dont really want to spend money on it to fix it. course, with this car, stuff is breaking left and right.

There was no way that method was going to work for me. It was a struggle for me to get mine out with the tool it was so tight.
