So I installed my fidenza flywheel last night, and I went to put the pilot berring in that came with the clutch kit. I used a larger socket and a dead weight hammer.

I got it about a 1/4" in and i could tell the berring was being crushed.

What size socket should i use to put it in?
Is there a better meathod?

what clutch kit did you get? I did a replacement clutch for this guy's MKIII and the bearing that came with his kit was the wrong size. Had to get another one from toyota.

should i be worried?

yeah, when i did my swap, the first pilot bearing wouldnt go in, so i used dremel and cut it out, then i got another one from the same store and this time, it was the right one, went in pretty easy and still works great
