I had one from tte and was not very impressed. He's a great guy to deal with and more then happy to help out if you are not satisfied, but mine at least was not that good.

Wow,
I really appreciate the response.

I was really hoping to go with the lotek, but now must re-think my plan.

They look good in the pictures I have seen but I don't know what the installer went through to install it.

Not familiar with tte but with look for it.

Thanks
Wayne

You mean on the pillar? You just buy a gauge pod, the gauges slide into it. It's really quite simple - except that making the pod fit into the car without looking like a complete POS is tough, as the pods are usually less than perfect in the fit department.

Yeah, the one I made for mkii89 was 60mm triple gauge pod. The mold was the 60mm was not very good and that is why it did not come out ok.However I have made a new mold for the 60mm gauge pods and I can guarantee it is far better than my old pods.
As for the 52mm pod I have had no complaints but I have been still making improvements to the mold.
I will post pics of the new 60mm design and ask my customers who have bought the 60mm pod to leave feedack.

Cheers,
Roy

Ah, that's more complicated. He built those pods himself - it can be done, but it's not easy or fast. :)

would you kno how some one would go about making them? liike what materials were used?

I would really like to see your pods tte, as there are few choices, and I would like to buy one from someone who really gives a sh-t about how they fit and just about how many they can sell.

Thanks
Wayne

Yes, I've made items like this in the past for speaker enclosures. Generally they are a stretchy fabric pulled tight over a thin wooden frame, then painted with fibreglass resin. You apply a thin layer of bondo overtop of that and sand it smooth, then paint it.
