Well heres some pics for you guys. Notice the back cylinders are filled with a black fluid mixed with a gritty substance. Also look hard an you will see how oval the first cylinder is. WOOT!

Like said before, I bought the car in this condition so dont flame me for keeping poor care of it. The motor I have coming will have a metal head gasket and ARP studs before I even drop it in. Gonna drop the gas tank and see if it has a foreign substance in it since this was the second motor this guy put it there must be something amiss. Unless he was a total dumbsh*t.

It's hard to see aything with that mangled HG in the way. Take that off, shop-vac the water out (not wipe with rag, that just packs crap in your rings) and post new pics =p

Carbon buildup is normal, that just shows that the driver didn't do a good job of blowing it out regularly

the liquid is coolant that spilled in as the HG seal was broken.

pretty. peel the old hg off. you will be able to see which coolant passages were leaking into the cylender. lets also see a pic of your valves, are the faces of your exhaust valves all black or are they white? mine were black due to bhg in #1 and #6, 2 3 4 were nice and white.
