Hey guys i've been on here for a while and i never seen a thread on intercooler piping.so i said let me try and start one.

well heres what i have, dont have the complete but used a couple U-bends to make it.

Here's my setup, used a $200 universal ebay 2.5" IC kit, but it's not welded up nice like Ian's.
BOV pipe missing, BTW

This bit hangs up higher, but the pipes are disconnected right now.

2.5" from turbo to IC, 3" from IC to FFIM. All polished stainless and now T-Bolt clamps throughout, only uses 4 silicone couplers total and IC to Manifold is very hard to remove from vehicle, so no other pictures until rebuild, paint job or part-out.

you should definitely switch to a same-side intercooler, that piping is way too low..!!

I have a spearco replica, driftmotion sell them as well, you should look into it..

Yep, it's too low for me too, but it was just a temporary thing so I could drive the car. I plan to have a ffim and welded pipes this spring. Ooooh, it'll be so nice!

Are those IC pipes aluminum? If so were did you get the bungs for the AIT Sensor & Vac source? I need those bungs to correctly complete my IC set up.


This is my TEMP set up till I find those bungs. Once I do I will replace the mild steel pipe with alum. & weld together then coat eliminating 2 couplers.
