I just put on one today and got some pics to help with selling them. I think it looks really good on the white.

Thanks
Kevin

I think they'd look great painted the same color as the car, they look a bit too flat.

Kevin didnt paint the one he put on his car, that is the satin finish gelcoat. If you really wanted them to stand out they could certainly be painted gloss.

Personally on the white car I too prefer body match. On my 3E5 I got to thinking about it and realized that body match on mine will make the covers almost dissapear on the red tails. So Im torn now. Im going to paint them low gloss black to start and see how I like em. If I dont like em I can always change em.

I think they'd look great with a gloss black, but against perfect white paint (like Kevin's) they would look awesome matched.

they dont seem to fit very flat on the tailights,
like there is a decent sized gap between the tailights and the cover...

how did you secure them to the tailight?
or did you just set them on there for the pic?

They are basically just set on. With proper mounting, they will sit tight. It's cold here today and I didn't want to spend all day mounting them up without having them finish painted.
