Thought I would post up some info and pics of my 88 supra. If all goes well I will be racing it in the Heads Up NW drag series next year. Shooting for high 10's on 235's. I broke the thrust washer in the R154 so hopefully I can keep the tranny together with a Cryo's washer and 1st gear shift fork. Here are the details:

Ross pistons (.020 over)
shot peened rods
polished crank
1.4mm MHG
Clevite bearings
Spec stage 3 (probably wont hold the power I need to put down to make 10's)
fully balanced rotating assebly
Main and rod journals re-bored to spec
All ARP hardware
Greedy/IHI RHC7 trubo kit (23cm housing, tube manifold, 50mm WG)
Custom made intercooler kit (2.5" Aluminum piping)
Tial BOV
Aeromotive FPR
Greddy 720cc injectors
rebuilt head, ported and +1mm SS valves
PLX M500 Wideband
Blitzs SDBC

I am currently running a blue emanage and a lex afm but I plan on trying out the Megasquirt. I also need to have Aaron @ Rabidchimp finish my Cat-back. Just gota find time to drive up there. I also want to ditch the shitty DP connection to the turbo and make a custom V-Band 3.5" DP. Also need to get NHRA approved cage and seats. Already have 15" rims and MT DR's lined up. No modifacations to the body are planned. Rear seats will come out to save a little weight but will go back in after the races.

Awesome car! Wish I had that kind of money. You have a nice engine build-up. Interesting how you are shooting for 10's without switching to a FFIM and associated mods. Let us know how it goes.

Thanx Anomili,

I dont think there is anything really wrong with our manifolds. A bigger TB would help airflow. IMHO the FFIM just makes the intake tract shorter making boost come up slightly quicker. The bottleneck would be the TB and 2.5" piping, not the plenum. I would like other input on that also.
