pics of cut stock bumpers

i just got my megan racing IC in the mail the other day 24x12x3. once it goes in i want to get all the air thru it i can and i was thinking about cutting the stock front bumper, probably the section the license plate is supposed to be :naughty:

i thought for sure i had seen this done before, but i cannot seam to find a single picture of this.

any pictures out there??

ummm... Don't the foglights offset any space gains by cutting open the bumper? Maybe its just me.

none whatsoever.the driving lights are spaced far enough from the radiator opening to allow free air flow.

i like it but A) i have a pre89 bumper B) i don't care for the fog lights mounted there[it's not that i don't like it but i have a big IC i wanna show off ]

No more new pictures. I have a couple older ones at home from the car show.
He parted the car out as a whole. Someone from GA bought his complete setup, so somone on here or SF has everything from his car. The buyer had an 88, red in color.

i really really REALLY like petes car, except i will not have the 89+ peice so it will be straight across[which i think i would still like since i have mesh grilles] and i would keep my mesh on the sides of the IC i think.....dunno if i would like that though

slow66, do you have anymore pics of the first car??? what size IC is in that car, it's bigger than the megan IC isn't it??i think it would look nice to have one large rectangle/trapazoid up frontbut not if my IC ooks lost in it
