A couple of my buddies from work will be spending a couple of days in Japan and they said that they will be happy to pick up some parts for me. Now last time I went to Japan I had a hard time finding anything because I couldnt understand a damn thing, I had absolutely NO transportation, and I was only there for 20 hours. I was able to pick up an F-CON though. Ive noticed that 7M parts are especially cheap because less and less people use them - most Japanese rides are 1J

So here is the deal: They are going to do their best to find the part - but no guarantee - they arent supra people but I will be sending SPECIFIC descriptions of items and pictures with them.

I need some ideas - smaller things like fuel computers are ideal. Complete engines are unreasonable although a manifold or two is definately possible. I cant front the money for tons of stuff - only the things I need. If you want to roll the dice with me and front some cash, send me a PM. I dont want to publically post my phone number so I will reply to your PM with my number if you want it.

Otherwise, anybody have any good ideas about what to pick up?

Twin Turbo R steering wheel, JDM tails, JDM throttle body, JDM turbo A badging, etc etc. These are just some ideas for you. I would like to have a few parts but I'm in no hurry to get them, just suggesting a few parts to maybe try to pick up for yourself.

JDM Rear trunk carpet with molded spare wheel cover in blue, would be great. I'd be willing to front some cash to get one if it was available. That is for years 86-88 if there is a difference. Thanks, LMK

Regulus rear wing and vented upper front nose piece

I second the vented upper nose piece. I am sitting here trying to think of things but keep drawing a blank. Turbo A duct, regulus vented front fascia, marcy clear front side markers ummm thats all I can think of right now maybe gains tail light covers, or any tail light covers for that matter ya a hiro rear bumper cover would be sexy too.

carry on really isnt an issue - we pretty much have our own airplane. As long as its reasonably sized (not a bumper, subframe etc.) and it doesnt weigh too much.

Taillight covers.... Good one.

Oh shit! I'm not THAT hardcore! $400 for just the duct? Dang Toyota likes to overprice stuff

Well...I dunno...

See the reason I brought it up is because I have a local guy that is going to make me a do-luck type 1 with turbo a duct that might be able to be mass produced, so if it would it may be better to have a genuine turbo a duct...

Either way, thanks for the link! It'll probably be hard to get your hands on one now..
