I took off my clutch master cylinder to see adjust the free-play on the pedal. I know it can be done on the car but I just wanted to take it off and see how to whole thing fits together. Anyway my question is how do I make more freeplay? Make the pushrod shorter, or longer. My thought was shorter but now it won't reach the clutch pedal when I tried to hook it back up.
