passenger power window stuck down!!!

is there any way to get the window up temporarily while i get a new motor?

you sure the motor is shot?
Mine does that sometimes. It goes up after trying a few times.

mine does it also. check wires on the back of the switch. sometimes they get moisture in there and dont make a good conection.

i used to have to hit the switch a few times for it to work, and now it doesen't work at all. the passenger side switch never really worked, so i had to use the driver side passenger switch, and it would always go up really slow, and now it doesen't work at all, and all it does is make a click sound when i hit down on the switch, and doesen't make any sound when i hit up. i took my door panel off yesterday in my auto class, and i don't really know what to look for too see if it's shorted or has moisture. any tell tale signs?

best bet is to check fuses first, (easiest and sometimes its a fuse), then just go get a complete swap, out of the junk yard or off here.
OR
to look for shorts look for burnt parts were the wire connects, or on the board it self.
if that doesnt work, take a screw driver and have someone run it along the wires, while you are pushing the switch up and down, if you see a arc then you have a short in the wire.

Mine did this and it was a loose connecter in the passenger side kick panel. I couldn't even tell it was loose until i pushed in on it and it clicked in to place

1. Check to see if you have 12 volts going to the switch.
2. Check that switch has continuty when you depress the switch.
3. Wiggle the switch connector and unplug and plug it again and press it while depressing the switch.Sometimes the window goes up.
4. If all fails and motor is good put 12v from a battery on the motor and it will go up.

I have had to do that a few times until I bought a new switch.

yeah i'm ok, i'm pretty shure i sprained my ankle bracing with my left foot on the dead pedal., but w/e. btw anyone have gz20 Soarer body panels and lights?
