well obviously if it's the relay for the tranny and it's missing your car won't down shift.

oh.... (relief)... because when i took out my N/A 7m i took that relay as well... i thought it would like have any affect on the car if i took it out... but why so many wires??? should i have it pluged in anyway or just leave it out...

-Unplug it or leave it unplugged.
-Test drive car.
-Did it still shift? (We've already yold you that the 1JZ ECU controls the transmission and that computer isn't needed...)
-Any strange behavior?
-If all is well, leave it out.
