Parts car grand total

So I bought a 89 turbo, targa, auto the other night for $480.00. A guy from town owned it since 94 and kept his reciepts from day1. He sold it to a kid a few months ago for around $1800. This kid now wants to get rid of it so i pick it up. He gave me all the receipts the previous owner had. The Grand total is $53,681.22 spent since 1994. The body is junk but thier is some good parts that will be sold when i get the stuff that I need off of it. I jsut thought that you guys would like to see that figure that was spent in the last 11 years. Keep in mind to that it was all stock parts to.

what the hell was he doing to this poor car that it went through all that???? 5 turbos? my car has only needed 3 including the factory turbo since 88. and really the last rebuild was my fault for running without a filter. ever hear of reqular matinance?

^^ me too, only 90k miles and appears the only other owner was pretty nice on the car. Could use a new Turbo though:naughty:

No all of the maintance was done at a shop in town. I think they pretty much just took him for a ride. If the body wasnt junk it would be my new DD. :^)
