Been thinking about doing something like this but Just the hood, top, and hatch coloured black....

if you get a combo of a dark color, like a midnight blue or a gunmetal grey, and the paint the a-pillars, roof, b-pillar black, i think it would be ok. ive seen it done on hot rods, and it looks really good on cars that have a clear definition between the roof and the body.

My 1977 Toyota Corona was Black bottom with Olive green roof, that was pretty cool.
