I need some feedback here guys....I want to be able to paint my samco couplers red because they came in blue and I was wondering what kind of paint can be use to apply on the silicone couplers?? Is there even such thing as silicone paint?? Can i use Engine Enamel paint, because i know it can withstand high temperatures versus the silicone or regular paint that might chip because of the heat produced in the engine...positive advice or feedback is needed...thanks!

Paint would just chip off, but at hardware stores they sell rubber paint made for tool handles and stuff like that. It's called "Plasti Dip" and comes in a spray can or just a can for using paint brushes. link

lol nice! last i checked though Ian dosn't doo the whole beer thing. (good on him!!)

i say just buy a set of couplers in the colour yo want and sell off the old ones to offset the cost. better than using a paint that can wae off in a few years. just my $0.02!!

they wont chip from the heat. they will chip when you flex the coupler trying to get it on. buy black ones.

krylon makes a plastic paint, but i've had better luck with interior vinyl paint for 4 bux a can from autozone. They have blue and red. They held up better on vinyl/plastic on jetski's than anything else i used.
