Paint, Pick a color.....

Well I have an opportunity to get a 89 shell thats rust free (bare shell) to swap all my 91 interior over (near mint blue interior) because the car is pretty badly rusted. another perk is its a HT w/o abs (light!)

Anyways the car is currently red and going to do a color change and spray it some color to match the blue inteiror (most likely blue)..

Now I need to decide what color to paint it..

91+ blue,
Midnight blue?
spectra blue (gs 300 color)
RSP (not really, dont think it'd look good on a mkiii, but giving ideas)..


what do you guys think. Also painted moldings or grey moldings?

That new lexus blue would look good. I will also go out on a limb and say the quicksilver you like would look good with blue interior. Silver is such a neutral color, it will match anything.

I really like the IS-F blue but I don't know if it would flow ok with the blue interior. The safe route would be Midnight blue. It's a hot colour and it works with the blue interior.

I have only say the blue like suprahero's is a superb color, or midnight blue. I saved this.

How about this blue same as supraheros or id say midnight blue. I think painted moldings look better, but If you put grey moldings id say the darker blue would look good.

Don't tell Jay, but I LOOOOVE that color! Jonny, a 3-piece spoiler to match the tails, and a drop, and your car would be Perfect. As it is, it is extremely nice.

I vote for the 91+ Blue

Cant really see the mkiv color.. I'd like a daylight shot if possible.. Looks a lot like the lexus dark blue color (i think turbo drifter painted his car that color)

If and I do mean if I ever do another supra it will be that dark blue. I had an infinity that color and it's mmm i'm don't have a word for it. Course it would be hard to go wrong with suprahero blue. I've seen that car and the color is impresive!

Somebody........can't remember who was doing RSP. I also like the Baltic blue. Here is a now totaled Baltic Blue next to my now totaled Grey car. The only car still good in that pic is N2Fisn69's black car. The two totaled cars were the fault of others!

I am giving serious consideration to RSP myself, with the grey interior. I think it'll look good.
