:(. seriouly. i was driving for about an hour and a half and it overheated on me :(. So yeah it was different this time though. i had no serious amount of coolant in the overflow, rad cap is sealed right, fresh coolant, distilled water. i followed all of the instruictions and did it right. Still over heated. okay now from where the smoke was coming from. it was coming from where the thermostat area is, but like directly behind it. where all the electronics are. i had pressure in my op rad hose as well. any ideas guys? im thinking BHG :wtc:

Can you see any puddling/dripping of coolant after the motor has cooled? Is anything wet?
there is a small wet spot. it stopped after it cooled down but it was dripping a bit of coolant clearly.

So were you able to trace where the leak was coming from? I know there is a low of stuff right there that could potentally leak but aside from going berzerk and replacing everything you just have to try and find it, I think.

you should check a small hose that goes from the head to the thermostat housing its a 90 degree hose thats about 4-5 inches in length ....that thing blew up on me ....it a pain to replace check it out and let us know.....
