well after I did the 5 speed turbo swap the car is overheating. It is not loosing any water at all, I check it everytime it gets really hot. I bought the engine locally and he had the heater lines ran kinda funky, and one of the hoses is by passing the heater core. I'm not sure if that would have anything to do with it.

Anyone?????

Thankyou

Billy

It actually had no thermostat the first time it over heated, I am running a slim fan, and the temp isn't going down when I drive it, I was thinking the water pump to, but its not leaking out the weap hole or anything, but I mean the fins could be missing off the inside right?

I'd put the thermostat in and change back over to a clutch fan.

I second this. In fact, I third it too.
Also,(as mentioned) check your rad. I really think the stock rad is barely sufficient even if it's new.
I got a cheap two row core aluminum rad and it solved my overheating issues(vs. old rad).

well i've got a new stock radiator with the plastic end tanks. And I've never overheated. Though my cooling system has been replaced with all new components.
