so after thinking long and hard about fixing up the supra, I came to the conclusion that it will cost WAY too much! Therefore I am going to drive it till it dies. In the mean time I am purchasing a 1989 Toyota Supra that is in much better condition minus a blown headgasket.

Why not maintain it and use it as a parts car?

So the new car is a 1989 white package turbo. It does however have an automatic transmission. I will hopefully be taking the transmission and some other key parts from my 87 and upgrading the '89. I will also have to sand down about 5 dime sized rust spots that are starting to surface on the roof and the hood.
