Yeah... The grey dash ended up with cracks, so I grabbed the brown (yuk) dash from one of the parts cars and followed the thread-info for redying/painting interiors.
As you can see, I still need to take care of the door panels to, but I do like the grey-black contrast, so I may not.
Another tip for cutting the carpet... the 1st time I used utility knife and scissors (that sucked).... Just get a razorblade (with handle) and make "slices," not holes. Here's what I did (when I did it right)....
After removing everything and old carpet....
1. I placed the carpet in the car and "sliced" right down the middle where the shifter goes (but all the way to the back).
2. Now that the carpet sits where it should and I made sure that the sides reached the door sills, I used sharp screwdrivers to poke thru and find all the holes (just remember everywhere U removed bolts from). Make "small" slices at every screwdriver so that the bolts can go thru.
3. When removing the screwdrivers to place seats in, etc... I used a contrasting paint (red nailpolish) to mark the holes. That way I could still find them.... takes a bit of work, but you'll be able to line upf the seats fairly easily.
Also... remember/notice that the seats have a guide near the front bolt hole. Be sure to make a hole in the carpet for these as well....
