I was wondering what people think about custom gauges. i want to get some from speedhut.com for my 92 and i was wondering if anyone had them or have seen them complete on a supra? the glo ones is what i am looking for. it would all be that neon blue/greenish glow look. any opinions or experience on them. i know the are kind of ricerish but i was looking at my supra the other day and i thaught it might be a cool thing to do. after i put in my old school hks boost gauge in my cigarette lighter i like the apperence of the interior more. so instead of doing a dual or tri pillar act i want to do the whole dash.

i have the black face w/ swiss text no logos and cobalt blue lighting. I like them i just hate how you have to have the factory bulbs installed in order to see your needles or odometer/tripmeter.

My gauges look like shit because i fucked the cluster up, but once i get a new cluster installed ill take some pics. Its just a pain in the royal as trying to get a 89+ gauge cluster thats in decent working condition...

I don't think they are ricey at all... for a long time we tried to make 'em on our own, before they finally started making some to fit our MKIIIs.

If anything, I think that they update the dash a bit, like what you have in most vehicles today (white-face guages).

I am looking for a specific set that I saw once on Ebay, that went for about $50. There are some cheaper and there are some that are more expensive. I like that Speedhut adds a bit more customization to 'em, but they don't carry the particular kind I'm looking for. Good luck!

I just ordered a complete custom set from speedhut. They will be one of a kind an no one else will have them. I sent them a TTF file with the custom font I wanted. (same as on Maserati's and Ferrari's). I even gave them a drawing and pics of how I want the nothces to look like. It cost me an extra $35 more, but will be well worth it since no other supra owner will have this font and notches on the custom "3D look" face I designed. They are great and will do anything you want done. I'll post pics when I get them in and installed.
