May I ask who did your "teh BHG" repair for you?
If it was an automotive repair shop that's probably never dealt with an issue like this before...

They probably either retorqued the bolts back down to "stock' specs, you cranked up the boost and gave it hell...and boom. lolz

OR,

They didn't do good enough of a job on "cleanup", leaving water or coolant in unwanted areas, causing for...well....knock knock? .............lolz. ;)

OR,

You had an unforunate oil leak, or burnt oil, didn't watch your oil pressure or levels, and let it knock itself out.

lolz

Good luck on the rest of your journey. And by all means, don't let anyone touch your car that isn't experienced with 7M-GTE's. :aigo:

lolz

i wont let anyone touch my motor unless they have messed with the 7m before....i think what got to my motor was the coolant in the oil, and me not getting the head done fast enough......too much aqua in "teh" oil....

Sean, was it the last issue you were dealing with, with it not wanting to idle/missing?

Yep thats exactly what it is. It will start go to 1500-2000 and die. If I bounce the throttle I can keep it at 3000-3500 sometimes 4000. But it sounds like its running on two or three cylinders.

And whats got me stumped is I did a tune up like three months ago. And then the galley was filled with oil as you seen. so i cleaned it out and then 3-4 weeks
later it had more oil in it and I used a shop-vac and cleaned it out and now its doing this.

I know I need valve cover gaskets. and thats why the oil is in the galley but I
don't know what would cause it to not idle.

Just exactly that. ;) If you get enough oil down into your spark plug galley, you better believe it will be missing, not wanting to idle and hardly even run without some help of the throttle.

When I had my major problem happen about a year ago, I just tried to help it idle as much as I could until it burnt off as much oil as possible...
It got better. I kept swapping out plugs, it got better...to the point that it completely went away.

Just be patient. Your issue is simple...Take advantage of it before it sits longer and something else goes wrong. ;)

Yesterday after we talked I went out and took the TB off and cleaned as much oil out of the galley as I could and when I took the spark plugs out they were soaked with oil and when i cleaned them off the electrodes were black. So my girlfriends dad is getting me new valve cover gaskets, new plugs, and new wires. So I'm hoping that new plugs and wires will get it to run.

I will let you know if it works.

Let me guess. You got BHG. Drove the car for a little while longer.(At least back home or wherever). Fixed the BHG but didn't rebuild the whole engine.

amirite?
