omfg!! what could have broke?

hey guys, well i pulled my motor yesterday, and when i got it cleared from the car i began to lower the engine and tranny, and all of a sudden my engine lift decided to give out on me! it was a fairly slow drop, and only a couple of feet the tranny hit firts. i was soo pissed, i didnt even look yet. i know i did bend the oil pan, but what else could i have done? broke the oil pump? but what else? thanks guys, and sorry for bein and idiot. :3d_frown: :3d_frown:

Yikes! That had to be scary. I wouldn't worry about the pump too much but definatly have a look at the pickup. If that is damaged then see of the pump looks damaged at all.

when my motor was shipped, they dent the hell out of my pan, it was leaking oil...

i pulled the pan, swaped for a good one, and the only thing wrong with the pick u was the screen mesh was dented so i pulled it back out with a paper clip.

cool, thanks guys, i guess it cant be that bad, it was a slow fall, and the tranny took the initial hit.
