Oliver's 7M Rebuild Thread

Hello everyone!
Most of you probably don't know me, but my name is Oliver and i am the original owner of my 87 Turbo hardtop supra. It was my dad's dream car and now passed it along to me.
here are some pictures enjoy!

I'm planning on going 7m, shooting for 450-500 HP keeping the engine looking stock as possible.
The car is in pretty good condition, my dad got a paint job somewhere in 2001-2002, there is some rust right below the right rear light and on my driver side door near my lock / door handle (very little), and small surface rust where my battery was sitting

what do u guys use to take off surface rust where your spare tires sits?

i have a crap load of parts sitting in my room waiting and ill be taking pics of them sometime this week. Most of my parts are ceramic coated and are veery shiny :icon_bigg

As far as plans for the car i plan on ripping out the engine around late spring/early summer.
Of course ill be getting the head and block done with a MHG.
Turbo will prolly be a Jt61 or JT58.

Use a wire cup brush on a drill, or a wire wheel on a 4" angle grinder.
If it's rotted through, I've got a mint one that I just cut out of my car last night... lol

i dont think its rotted through, but i think it slowly doing it now.

1st pic is lexus afm connected to a hardpipe inlet tube.
K&N FIPK Filter
Turbo XS BOV type S.( im going to sell it it soon, it will come with all the shims vacuum line, etc. ill sell for prolly 75$ complete bolt on)
The 4th pic is just something my dad had lying around.
pistons are from IJ, these are his Ross pistons. A piece of history is in my car =D they will be cleaned with mopar CCC when i purchase it next month.

Sorry i havent made an update....
havent been able to update because or school and work.
Ill try to have updates ASAP.
My next update, i should have the motor out, block and head at the machine shop....

I have no idea where my dad bought the picture.
My dad was obsessed with the supra, so he probably bought it from the dealership.

I found it like 2-3 years ago in a box and i decided to hang it up.

If i sold it how much are you will to pay....haha!
Dont know if i wanna sell it, but i'm just wondering what you would pay for it.
