I feel kinda stupid posting this up, but after calling HKS and searching the web I have come up with nothing.

Any one know how this boost gauge is supposed to be wired in? I would have figured 2 powers and a ground, but theres more going on that I anticipated.

Yeah I agree, not even the guys at HKS could tell me anything other than "try supra guys, they run those old gauges"....:icon_roll

My best guess so far

red: 12v ign
yellow: warning
Black: ground
Orange: 12v constant
Green: ?
Gray: ?
Brown: ?

And the sensor has a plug so I cant screw that one up, and thats why its not pictured.

And this is why I had a complete set of those gauges and sold them:naughty:

They are exceptionally awsome looking ( wish HKS would come out with that style face again) but there is ZERO diagrams from HKS nor any parts still around for that particular series of gauges.

Believe me, I looked. But there has to be someone running them with the original instructions....all hope is not lost.

lol....

Okay guys.

Red - 12volt constant
Orange - Switched ign source
Yellow - Light source (IE, lights get a 12v source from here.)
Black - ground of course.

The other wires should coincide with the sending unit...which you do have, right?

(The HKS gauge guy...)

Edit... on my HKS gauges... they have 2 wires that are left untouched, as they're meant to be piggy backed with other gauges. (I assume)

Thanks Brent, I have the sensor, but its not an issue so its not pictured. The sensor is bundled with the green, gray, and brown but is seperate from those wires...Still leaves me wondering what those wires are for??

(for reference the sensor uses a white, yellow, and pink wire)

All of my HKS gauges have (2) wires left over, the only thing I can think they're for is to be piggy backed with either IGN, lights, or possibly gounds.

I left them alone, and wired the rest up permanently.
