i want to know if the 89-92 front bumpers will fit on a 88mk3..also if it is hard to switch the guages on a 88 to a 89 guage..b/c i like how it goes to 160..thats all

to answer your questions, the 89-92 front bumpers do fit but you will need the 89-92 bumper support also... the gauge cluster from an 89-92 will not work in an 87-88 car although i dont know if anyones tried swapping the gauges around... but seriously even if it were capable.. it wouldnt be worth the time and effort...

or you could buy a 89 gauge cluster.. its all plug and play.

also the bumper supports are probably interchangable with minimal modification, they really aren't that different.

i stand corrected on the gauge cluster then, but i know for a fact that my 89+ bumper wouldnt fit right on my 88 until i got the bumper support... the bumper support bolts right on...

imo, i love the 89+ bumper with the middle of the bumper flowing right into the hood. as for the gauges, id say theyre plug and play. i like the 89+ needles too
