two weeks? it takes college time in tx!

just keep in mind that this is in reality, a sales gig.

i always tell people wanting to get into sales to go sling Kirby vaccum cleaners for a while first.

if ya can knock on someones door, and walk out an hour later with a check for $1500 for a damn vaccum, then you are ready to go sell big expensive houses!

Might be an idea to get used to using correct spelling and grammar as it will help with buyer confidence, I know sure as hell I wouldn't be doing 500k business with someone either uneducated or too lazy to put a little effort into both.

Well I'm planing on going back to college and taking a basic writing class and a math class just to brush up, and really I'm very good at typing when I take my time, I just type fast and miss words or miss spell them cause I didn't look where my fingers are placed. But I am sorry if I cause anybody confusion.

That's exactly what I meant by "get used to it" it just means whenever you write anything taking an extra minute or two to make sure it's "correct"

Use a spell checker if you need to there's no shame in it.

I rely heavily on the Firefox spell check. It automatically checks as you type. Its sweet because you just right click on the red underlined word and it gives you suggestions of what the word should be. I <3 technology.

Oh dear, Grammar officer Ian is out in force!

Sales gig's are pretty tough sometimes, I work in sales/cross selling for timeshare owners and it's not the easiest thing in the world and you're not even getting them to part with money sometimes.

On the plus side at least I type well :-D

You should see the spelling and grammar of some people I work with though, shocking that a 26 year old whose (right one... that's one thing I've ALWAYS sucked at...) only language is English but has awful spelling/typing skills.

Totally off track... advice! If you think you can do well and won't lose much by trying it and can find a job that pays you well then go for it. If you think you'll enjoy it then that's something of a bonus, I think if you can enjoy a job then you're more likely to do well, I find when I feel like I'm having a bad day it does get bad, positive thinking means positive working and all that shit.

^^^you sold your mother one of those pos? rotflmao...damn dude, thats cold. you have a bright future in real estate! of course, as a slum-lord.

funny thing is, your grandmother's kirby is still in the back of the closet, and prolly works better!

all kidding aside, i made a shitload of money selling those things. unfortunately, i left most of it on the boats in louisiana. wtf was i thinking at 21, playing $300 hands of blackjack? lol, money seemed so much easier to make back then...

Haha that sucks but no I didn't sell one of them to my mother, I was fixing the vacuum she bought at sams club lol. She just bought it and its plugged with cat hair. Now her cats look like horses they are huge, besides the piont i'm going to be losing money at first with this because of broker fees and the monthly dues for me to hold the lisence, somthing to the tune of about 450 a month, but i'm already looking at making that up with just one sale of a house. Also I don't have to pay all that if I sell just one house so its a motivator. Ohh and i promise to not spend any winnings at the boats we have here lol.

keep in mind that you will be broke the first few months. with real estate, you have to get a few deals
"in the pipeline" going. its not like selling cars or vacuums where you get paid on friday. A house deal can take a couple of months to get done, and you dont get paid till after closing. that is a business where you might make 20k one month, then nothing for the next three. its feast or famine
