Ok Crazy idea probly already thought of...

the 7mge could you use the upper portion of it with the lower portion of the 7mgte and use it on a gte if so could you use the crazy 2 piece thing and the gte throttle body then eliminate the 3000 pipe if so it would put the throttle body closer to ther turbo plus give the air more of a place to branch off... i dont know i saw a 7mge and was curious lol

you mean replace the 3000 pipe with the y pipe from the ge so that you get more even flow to the cylenders? yeah been thought of, and done before. i thik it was found out that the gain was very small and not worth the work. you have to relocate the coil pack and all those vac lines and such.

hmm if thats the only prob then i may have a go with it as i have a ported upper manifold laying around and my bottom manifold is allready proted lol god i gotta wait till i come back home in feb lol

here's my opinion on it:

i believe dr. jonez had it on there, but the gains arent noticable, really. i was thinking of trying it, but i'd rather not have to take my throttlebody off EVERY time i change my spark plugs. (every 2k miles, with my oil/filter)

with all the work it would cause to make it function correctly, it's really not worth the effort. AICS is a bitch.

A guy here is Oz did it on a N/A, but the main difference was that he used a Cobra twin 57mm T/B and the difference was huge.

I intend doing it on a 7M-GTE with my next engine !!!

so u mean instead of using a crosspipe he bolted on 2 throttlebodies directly to the manifold hmmm...u could replace the 3000 pipe with a y pipe custom made of course but then u would need custom linkage also i wonder if it would do any thing tho since u are still using a plenum tho w bet if u ported both holes as big as u could and used biggest throttle bodies that would fit u may be able to flow more air than we can on the one single 7mgte style but i doubt any body will put the money into it lol.... well can any body tell me the diamater of the 2 holes on the na manifold i have no way to do it from here lol

Not quite. It is using the ACIS upper manifold section, replacing the single T/B as per below

And then making a custom "Y piece" between the two.
