Ok all, When my engine was Built, The builder installed a 1" Bolt in the oil pump. I guess he was thinking that the engine needed more oil Pressure, Basically now, when I rev the motor up to about 3000-3500rpms, The oil filter O-ring blows off the filter and oil goes everywhere. I forget to mention that the oil Pressure gauge almost Pegs out.
Have any of you ever shimmed the oil pump and if so, What degree did you use. When I remove it, Should I go with a Smaller shim or no shim at all?
