no it will not screw right in. the autometer is a 1/8 npt and our threads are 1/8 bspt. lucky for you, they make an adapter! autometer #2269.

as far as the hard pipes, it will help some. the old rubber ones like to swell under boost. prob not any noticeable hp gains tho, maybe a bit quicker spool and response tho.

If you`re gonna do hard pipes, do them all. I`ve seen a lot of pipe kits fairly cheap in the F/S section lately. Turbo seems to spool a little quicker since it doesn't have to fill up those "expanding" hoses.

As far as the sender goes, you`ll need a metric adaptor between the sender and the block. AutoMeter makes one I' sure.

The only thing you would really notice a difference on with the upper pipes is going to be the sound of the BOV you use with it. You will also notice the backfire if you vent to the atmosphere.

I borrowed my cousin's upper hardpipes for a while just for shits and giggles. As soon as I installed them I would get a loud backfire during shifts (HK$ vented to atmosphere). As soon as I put the stockers back on the backfire stopped imediately (with me running no exhaust after the testpipe, that's a good thing!).
