I know there alot of post about this ... but would anyone know if a Type A guage would read correct numbers on a Type B sender?

If my thinking is correct, you are asking is you can basically intermix senders and gauges, correct?
If that is what you are asking, then the answer is no. So operate or function differently then others for one, and others that operate on the same principle have different calibration scales.....

Thx cjsupra90 that was exactly what i tried to explain , i bought an engine that was on a US car and swap it in my Canadian car and i have a Type A guage and US cars use Type B (i think) .
The engine runs fine... good pressure when cold as soon as the engine is at normal temp the pressure drops under spec :aigo: .
They change the oil pump today supposily now its fixed ... ill see when ill pick up the car monday.

Castrol syntec 10w30 .. and the engine as 4000 miles from previous owner and as been break on normal oil before going to syntetic.
