Oil Pressure Unit Size

Trying to hook up a mechanical oil pressure gauge in the 87 supra turbo, curious the size of the adaptor that should be used into the block to replace the stock sending unit.

British Standard Pipe Thread also refered to as BSPT

BSP and NPT are close but there is a 1 TPI difference in the threads (Threads Per Inch) And the taper angle is different so while they will screw into each other they won't seal correctly.
