Could anyone tell me where the oil pressure sensor is located. I also have a grey colored cap with a plug inside it hanging under the thermostat housing that I can't seem to find the location of.
Thanks
Michael

The cap goes on the oil pressure sensor. I you take off the accordian tube and the air intake tube you can look down behind the power steering pump on the right front side of the engine and you'll see the oil pressure sensor. The plug in the cap slids on and the cap holds it on. Hope this helps

Yea I think I know where you are talking about it I just didn't see where the plug went. I figured that cap might have been for the sensor since it worked before but wasn't sure.
Thanks

Does anyone know where the other end of the wire connects to? I recently installed a new oil pressure sending unit on the block, but my gauge still doesn't work. I assume it's faulty wiring, but I can't follow the wire far enough to see if it goes to the ECU or directly to the gauge cluster.

It plugs into the ecu and branches off to a separate plug that follows along the firewall butting the windshield then to the cluster. there's a bit of wire to follow and chances are that the gauge is junk.
Buy an aftermarket one and stop messing around with the unreliable factory one!
