Hey I installed a oil filter relocation kit along with a b&m oil cooler and a mocal thermostat on my car. I noticed now when the thermostat opens at idle my oil pressure is around 10 psi compared to about 15 or 16 before and at 3000 rpm I have about 50 psi compared to about 75 or so before. Is this normal and are these pressures ok?
I know on other engines this is fine but I heard somewhere that the 1jz pump was a high pressure low flow pump or something like that.
Car runs great, I just want to make sure I'm still safe.
