Oil pan question

I have a quick question about my n/a oil pan. The other day i had the jacked up working on the exhaust and noticed something odd. On the side of the pan there is a nut looking thing welded to the side. Is this a gte pan? Is the nut thing for a oil return? If it helps, the pan is a green looking and the motor is a orange color. Sorry about lenght but knew to complete. Thanx for all help in advance!

Yup, that would be the return line for the oil cooler I'll bet.

NA pans had that plug as well as Hot Climate cars have an oil cooler and that's the return port.

I was wondering, if i choose to turbo my n/a, what would i have to change other than exhaust man. turbo and ic stuff? A friend at a local import shop said i would not have to switch ecu, intake, and injectors. Just a side note, i would not raise boost levels and i know of oil cooler line tap to feed turbo, but what line do you use? I assume that the lines have to be stainless steel do to heat or can you use rubber oil cooler lines? Also, how to connect oil drain to plug? Thanx for helping a newbs
