Car drives smooth and true until you hit WOT. Then it misses bad...
Took out the plugs to find oil on a few of them. Wiped them clean and the car ran perfect. 2 days later, same thing.
The valve covers are on tight, so its not leaking down from there.
Worn valve guides? BHG?
There isn't any white exhaust, or blue for that matter....oil looks good, as done coolant.
Anyone ever have this issue? Any ideas?

I have a feeling I will be dealing with this tomorrow or sometime this week.
I just got back from the track and it was missing like crazy.
If the plugs are coated with oil I'm gonna replace the valve cover gaskets. Because I think I do have a leak form that.

When you change the cam cover gaskets out, torque your valve covers down per the TRSM spec...note that it's in in/lbs :naughty: Make sure you tighten in an end-to-end pattern kinda like torquing down a head gasket...gives you an even seal.

I used stainless allen head cap screws with a star type lock washer on top of the stock grommets. The stock philips head fastners are crap in my opinion.
