How much difference does this make...
Im installing the braided lines and noticed that at the turbo flange Im going from a factory 7/32 to 5/32.... Its a very noticeable difference.

Anyone running these lines have issues with less oil flow to the turbo...

I have upgraded to the 57 trim and I have to say the lines fit well.... The size difference is scaring me a bit...

Please tell me Im just being paranoid and wont burn out the bearings....

Donno about the stock CT26, but my SP61 uses an AN3 (3/16) oil feed line. I asked Larry at SP about that and he said larger lines will blow the oil seals inside the turbo.

Where did you get the lines?

I come from a land down under
Not so much that it will "blow" the seals more like flood them!

Turbo's use a combination of Ring Seal and Labryinth Sealing and if you flow too much volume through them they flood and this causes all sorts of problems such as the blown turbo look of clouds of smoke out the exhaust!
(too small or a blocked drain will do the same)

Garrett GT's have a 1mm restrictor in them just for this reason so you can't flood them no matter what size feed you install (Older ones didn't)

Who supplied the hose kit?

Its the MDC braided line kit.

The stock line is 7/32 while the MDC line feed is a smaller 5/32 at the flange.

Im just wanting to make sure as I do not want to screw up my turbo.

This build has cost a ridiculous amount of money for me and I want it right.

My main problem is I REALLY want to hear the car with the BIC and new exhaust... Its driving me mad. MAD I tell you...

Post in MDC's section with a link to this thread and ask Jon!

I'm hesitant to make a suggestion as I'm not sure what a CT requires flow wise sorry.
I talked with Jon today... Its a funny conversation we are both Jon...

He says the hose is the right flow. Im going to give it a go... Im taking care of my heat shields while my IC pipe tours the US...
