I have a 1986.5 NA. I blew a rod a while back, trashed the engine, and got a JDM engine to put in it. I got it in and ran it, then had to pull it back out to fix a coolant leak, and now that I've gotten the coolant leak straight it appears that I have an oil leak somewhere. It wasn't doing it before I pulled the motor out the second time. It has to be somewhere on the front of the motor because oil is being thrown by the fan all over the engine bay. I searched for this on the forums, but I can't seem to find anything like it. I ran diagnostics, and no codes popped up. Does anyone have any idea what the cause of this might be? Thanks a lot guys...

OK- I'll try to get pics up ASAP. I'm kinda wondering if it might just be spillage from where I filled the fluids. I'm going to spray down the engine and check it again. Pics will be up sometime in the next few days. Thanks for the quick reply.

I have one. It only ensures that the majority goes in the engine as opposed to on the ground. :p Well, it's not doing it anymore. SO- I'm not sure. Point is it stopped. :-D I drove her around quite a bit today. QUITE amazing! Thanks guys!

You may want to go to an automatic wash and clean the belly of your beast and then go and add some of the blacklight die and see if you can trace it to the problem, wich is hopefully not your HG.

Have you looked at your oil pan or been underneath the car to scope it out?

No- it's no longer leaking. I'm thinking it's either from where I spilled some filling the fluids or else it was because the line from the charcoal canister wasn't connected. (I was told that this could cause oil that had been absorbed to leak out)
