oil leak

hey guys,

ive been trying to find the souce of an oil leak, and i havent had any luck.. its leaking around the back of the block area, the tranny is where it ends up dripping from- near where it meets the block and also down a bit more towards the back, the underbody is pretty wet too around the tranny area..

can anyone tell me whats around here that it could possibly be? i havent been able to pinpoint it at all, i jus cant see where its coming from..

If it isnt the rear of the valve cover, it is the rear main bearing cap seal. You must seperate the engine from the trans to change it.

the back of the valve covers are not leaking... but it is wet on the top of the bellhousing a bit, but mostly around the sides and all over the bottom..
