oil leak[suspect cooler lines]

i have been trying to track down an oil leak forever!! and as of late after replacing and rereplacing several things....i think it may be the oil cooler lines

when i get under the car the 'soft' parts of the cooler lines are always soaked and just ready to drip oil and the small section right next to the IC looks like it has been spraying oil

has anyone had thistrouble, i'm sure they are OEM parts from the sale date in '87:3d_frown:

i will check out autozone for a replacment set

link?? P/N?? i assume this is a tranny cooler that alot of pepl run as a oil cooler??

does it have a thermostat[do we have one stock]

anyway i'm trying to do this cost effectively, so i can stick with my short plan[emissions, BIC DDP and test pipe :evil: , MAFT....smiles!]

The old stockers will be leaking for sure. It will cost all of about $3 to replace those hoses.

Yeah, those stock cooler hoses are sure to be weeping if they're original. There are lots of ways to track down leaks but the best is to UV trace them. Same with coolant, PS, A/C, and so on. Cheap and effective.
