ok i just recently got my supra back this sunday and drove it around a little to get some miles on the new clutch and looked under the car and noticed oil was leaking...well i popped the head and looked inside and couldnt see nething and then when i looked back behind the alternator oil was coming from the vent tube behind it. At first i thought it was just the hose leaking so i replaced it...still leaking....i see that the tube can be removed is it hard? or is there a easier way to fix this than having to take my alternator out and yanking on the tube to get it out? any help would be appreciated.

I believe it is pressed into the block. I (me) would first try cleaning all around the outside with steel brushes and carb spray. Then I would use brake spray (leaves no residue) all around. Then I would apply some sealant, like permatex, around where the tube goes into the block.

Before all that, I would make sure my vent tubes and passages were all clean. The ones from the valve covers into the throttlebody/intake. If they are clogged, it will create back pressure in the engine and cause leaks at the tube in question.
