I had the HG done about 3 weeks ago at the same time I have 99.9 of the seals replaced like 400+ in a toyota seal kit and a Titan 1.4 MHG. I drove the car for 2 weeks and was seeing the overflow light come on when I was going around corners. so i got home and went to put some water in it and dam if the water wasnt Milky.
So the guy who did the work came over and took a look and yea I got OIL in the water. there is no water in the oil top or bottom. also when he put the head back on and did the leakdown all cylinders were within 5% of each other. now he has taken the head off and there are no leaks there and it was still at the same torqe.
So WTF? Does the Stock Supra oil cooler reside in the radiator or is it a seperate unit? the radiator has been flushed several times and it still shows some oil in the water after the car warms up and you drive it a little. In the 2 weeks I drove the car after I was down maybe half a quart of oil. which can get eatin up by everything resealing and all that fun shit. anybody have any ideas?

I think you have a BHG. I use brake quiet on my head gaskets before I install them - maybe you should try that.

thanks for the info on the oil cooler was my assumption but I was not positive. as for the BHG no its not blown. or it shows no signs of leakage it has been taken off checked and replaced. the head was torqed to 82 FP I believe useing ARP studs. and the head was still torqed where it was supposed to be when it was removed to check the gasket.

hey same thing happened to friend fresh rebuild with titan 1.4 there is a rivit on passenger side of headgasket up front near the timing coveron the titan 1.4 headgaskets that if you
dont remove it before installation it will allow oil in water...the rivit is a known issue. we took the head back off and removed the rivit put the gasket back on and torqued it down to 90 ft lbs.then flushed the coolant system out and no more problem. and hes got about 3,000 on the engine now with no issues...and we used copper gasket sealant it comes in a spray can..

we did a compression check on the cylinders before we redid the gasket and they were fine and when we removed the headgasket there were no signs of it leaking but when we removed the rivit and reinstalled the gasket the problem went away..
