Hello!
I ordered summit oil filter relocation kit. It uses Ford-style filter (3/4-16"). But there is one problem - we do not have American Fords in Russia. So we haven't filters for it.

Tell me please mark and model of viechle which filter I can use with summit kit. Or maybe part numbers according Mahn or Knecht catalogues.

PS: I think I can find filter that fits Ford-style adapter, but will it be good enough for Turbo Supra? That's why I ask some prooven filters...

Someone correct if I'm wrong. Mr Y, I believe Toyota uses also a Ford filter type which only means that the ford and toyota use the same filter threads (3/4-16) and the size of the area that connects to the adaptor. I ordered the same relocation kit from summit, and I'm running it with the Toyota filter. give me the summit part number for the kit so I can confirm we have the same one. Now you might want to double check that the supras in your area (non nato) didn't use a different thread filters etc. but I doubt it.

Well, I don't have kit yet (long-long shipping), but if Toyota Filter will fit it - it will be very good. I always use original toyota filters and haven't problems with buying 'em.

If you use Summits website to track your shipment, you can find the part number. I just wanted to make sure we have the same kit.

This is the one I ordered

Privet Mr Y...kak dela? Ya govoru nemonoga, no ne ochen xorosho ;).

Most Toyotas have been using 3/4-16 filter studs for a very long time. Any mount with such a stud will take a Toyota filter but there are better filters to be had. You can cross reference a Mann filter on their website:

I'm fond of the W 719/5 for Toyota use but be aware the bypass valve has a higher setting than typical Toyota filters. Ydachi...
