Ok all, For you all that are running these Big Aftermarket turbos, what did you do to Increase the pressure going into the oil feed port on your turbo?
With the Big Aftermarket turbo that Im running the wheel Spins Extremely Easy (Easier than a Stock CT) Now after I started in up today for the first time, I noticed after about 3 minutes that my Compressor wheel is starting to slow down. I shut it off and I reach in and the wheel is like getting tighter and tighter to spin. I pull the turbo off and check to see if I have any oil in it and Its dry.
If I take my Air gun and blow air into the feed hole, I have a good amount of air coming out of the Drain hole but If I pour oil into the feed hole, It doesnt drain at all.....
Is there a Certain amount of Pressure needed to open the feed hole in turbos and If so, What do I need to do to increase the Pressure in mine. Im running a -3AN line which is Pretty small. Would that be the Problem or Do I need to go with a larger line so more oil can flow with the Pressure that a 7M gives.
Any Help or Advice would be greatly Appreciated here.
